Beneath the towering pines, the forest floor is covered in a thick layer of moss, which clings to the rocks and creates a soft, spongy carpet beneath the elves' feet. The moss is so thick and lush that it all but covers the rocks below the trees, giving the forest its name.
The Mossborn Pines is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, including deer, rabbits, squirrels, and countless species of birds. The elves of the Mossborn Pines have become expert hunters and gatherers, using their knowledge of the forest and its inhabitants to survive and thrive.
To the west of the Mossborn Pines lies the Aymoh Plains, a vast grassy expanse that stretches as far as the eye can see. Here, the forest gradually gives way to rolling hills and open fields, creating a stark contrast to the dense, shadowy world of the forest.
To the east, the Mossborn Pines give way to the frigid Chillwhisper Expanse, a frozen wasteland of ice and snow. Here, the forest becomes increasingly sparse as the climate grows colder, until it finally gives way to a barren landscape of snow and ice.
Despite the challenges and dangers of their surroundings, the Mossborn elves have managed to carve out a unique and thriving civilization within the Mossborn Pines. Their deep connection to the forest and their mastery of its resources have allowed them to survive and thrive in this rugged and unforgiving landscape.
